It is not clear at all that the names of AWM fields are editable

When creating an application with AWM, the step where you drag properties from the "field palette" the property names are editable but it's very unclear how that is to be done. The normal workflow is to drag fields into place and name them, perhaps even a popup which says "name this field" is in order after dragging it in. When you have dragged it into place, the only place to type is actually (it turns out) for setting the default value in the template, something which is not important at all to me and should (for me) be an extra step. The field name is only editable if one is clever enough to click on it and type, otherwise it looks just like any other static text.
