Description
Another idea (I should probably put these on the IDEA space rather than here but I like the fact that this is sent to the list automatically and not forgotten - I think we need a new issue category called Ideas):
- There was a nice concept in 1998-2000 called zaplet. The idea was to send emails with live data inside. This was very convenient for organizing meetings, polls, etc as whenever your email was receive/refreshed, it got its data from a server and thus you were always seeing the live information.
- I think we could apply a similar concept to xwiki in the future. Imagine sending a page to someone by email and that person can not only view it with live data but also edit it directly in his email client.
Note: This only work for email client supporting HTML/JS and that have it enabled but that should be fine.
