Set status of notification item to read when user clicks on page link

Assumption:

One or more notification items are in the notification tray (bell icon)

Required behavior:

If user clicks on one of the following

• link to the page or
• "..." icon

of the notification item, then the status of that notification item is automatically set to "read".
