Description

I've seen some behavior on an installation where document seemed to be found from another wiki when it shouldn't

Much more testing is need to verify the Lucene plugin in both normal wiki and multiwiki mode.
We need many different office files and verify that these are indexed properly and returned properly by the searches.

Please propose a test plan with many different files so that it is then implemented in test cases.

The test plan should be:

  • Word, Excel, Powerpoint 95, 2000, 2003 files with a lot of content
  • OpenOffice 2.0 files with a lot of content
  • PDF files with a lot of content

Test cases should prove that each of this files are indexable and searchable.
The test case should be extensible and news files can be added. This way if we find a file that fails to be indexed we can add it to the test case

Make sure your patch is based on the latest version of the XWiki code. There has been important changes in the lucene code.

This is a critical issue, and it should be solved ASAP. But it is not needed for the 1.0 release of the XWIKI platform. And currently it is blocking the release.

Ok "problem" is that provided wiki names are added and correctly handled by Lucene but in with "SHOULD" marker and not "MUST" so all request alway search in all wikis.
