Description
The default login scheme of XWiki, that is to say FirstnameLastname is very counter-intuitive for average users. Indeed, the ubiquitous login on all major B2C websites is now the email, not yet another arbitrary token.
At the Insitut Telecom, the most frequent request that I get is the "lost login" problem. Users are typically giving a try with either their first name or their last name. Instead of kicking users out, XWiki should suggest potential existing logins when there is a match with more than 3 or 4 letters with an existing login.
