Renaming documents to a new SPACE does not update backlinks

I am renaming documents to move them from the "Main" space to another space. I do this using the "Rename" menu item, selecting the new space and using the same name of the document. The rename itself works properly, but many of the links in documents are not renamed correctly:

• References to the renamed document are often not changed to include the new apace; it looks like this is a problem with xwiki/2.0 syntax pages only (i.e. when a 2.0 page contains a reference to the renamed page).

• Links on the /renamed/ page that do not include a space (so they defaulted to the "previous" space the page was in) are not updated: they should be updated to include the "old" space name! They now stay to be "relative" and so point to "Unknown" document in the new space.

I have backlink storage enabled as per the default.
