Too many versions of an extension page created on extensions.xwiki.org (and many objects added)

I noticed this issue on the page for the Solr Search API here https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Solr%20Search%20API .

• there are many many versions in the history - ~1500, with many versions created per day
• while checking the diffs between 2 such versions there are lots of objects that appear added each time https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Solr%20Search%20API?viewer=changes&rev1=1468.1&rev2=1469.1& . Also, the object numbers in this history look very very high (too high): ~120000 - it's not clear whether there are that many objects or it's just the object numbers that ended up this high but this number is very high.

Consequences:

• performance is impacted by large history and high object numbers - so it's probably a good idea to keep these under control
• functionally the history is polluted by these changes and it's impossible to find the actual relevant changes of this documentation in the history.
