      Description

      1. I am connecting to the server as the Admin user.
      2. On the Wiki Explorer I select the page I want to edit, right click on it and then click on "Edit this page".

The page that is shown on word doesn't have images. Instead there is a box with the following message: "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location."

The type of file on the word document is html.

I tried with png, gif and jpg images.
My images are attached files on XWiki and it happens on every page.

I have edit rights on my document repository folder (On the client PC).
The problem is that the image is not been downloading (it is not inside the folder - file repository). The link to the image on the html file is ok.

        Hi,

I can't reproduce this locally which makes it hard to make any progress. Can you please check the image folder again? I think I didn't give you the full path on the mailing lists. The attachments should be downloaded in:

        • <RepositoryPath> \ TempPages \ <SpaceName>-<PageName>_files \

We Released XOffice 1.1 today, so you should be receiving the updates. Please let us know if this issue is still present in v1.1
        Thanks

Have the same problem here, using XWord 1.1.
Images can be found in <RepositoryPath> \ TempPages \ <SpaceName>-<PageName>_files
But there is another empty folder <RepositoryPath> \ TempPages \ <SpaceName>-<PageName>-Dateien (german translation of 'files') and I guess word is looking for the images there.

This seems to be a localization issue. Are you using a German versions of Windows and Office?
I would also like to know if it's "-Dateien" or "_Dateien".
Unfortunately there's no api that I can use to find out that suffix. I will create a dictionary to handle this, which means that the community needs to provide that the OS + Office language settings + the suffix.

Yes, I'm using a german office and windows. Surprised to hear that there is no api.
        The suffix is "-Dateien".

I'll try a workaround using a background save to determine the suffix. No dictionary needed in this case.

I tried with XOffice 1.1.1.132. The problem is still there. The image is not been downloaded (it is not inside the folder - file repository). The link to the image on the html file is ok. I tried on two different PCs.

The folder <RepositoryPath> \ TempPages \ <SpaceName>-<PageName>_files \ is there but it is empty.

        I am using Office 2007 ( 12.0.6504.5000 ) SP2 MSO ( 12.0.6425.1000 ) Language English ( US ) System Language Designation Spanish ( Costa Rica ).
