Do not send watchlist mails about ones own changes

Users get watchlist mails about changes in document they watch even if only they have made changes. From a users perspective this is superfluous ( "You do not have to tell me that") and it makes the watchlist look "silly".

Proposed improvement: It would be nice if users could opt out of being notified about these changes; either by default (global config?) or as a user profile setting (looks like extending the XWiki.WatchListClass might work).
