      Description

Currently the included gallery macro is not easy to use, especially if you just want to insert a gallery macro quickly to display all images of the current page. In order to do so you must use a velocity script or download the "AttachmentGalleryMacro" extension which is essentially a shortcut to this script.

Rather than requiring the user to specify the content directly, the content field should be made optional and the first option should be a new check mark box to "Include current page images" that inserts/enables the velocity script below to include images from the current page.

This would give users a default/quick option to insert the gallery macro and if necessary include other images in addition to the current page, or explicitly call out images from other locations and disable displaying current page images.

This would also eliminate the need for the "AttachmentGalleryMacro".

See velocity script to show current images at https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/AttachmentGalleryMacro
