    Description

      Hi,
I would like to suggest an improvement/feature. As of now, all the pages that we create in XWiki are displayed in Navigation Panel, by default. If we disable/hide navigation panel, then we only have search/tag option to find the pages.

We have made navigation panel invisible, because we only want to show certain pages in a certain hierarchy, so we are using MenuItem. To add a page into MenuItem, a user needs to have Administrator access. Some user, who don't have Administrator access but have permission to create pages, can create pages but cannot add pages into MenuItem, hence will be difficult to find those pages.

My suggestion is to come up with some feature/list, that all the pages that anyone creates gets added to it by default(as with navigation panel), but should also provide more flexibility to show/hide and format pages(change Parent and child more easily and more frequently as in MenuItem). Let me know if I can provide any further information.

      Thank You
