Wiki Syntax 1.0: Definition of Link target not possible

We cannot create Links in Wiki-Syntax 1.0 that define the HTML target attribute!

Documentation at http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/XWikiSyntax offers a funktionality to define a link like this:
<a href="http://..." target="_blank">LinkName</a>
by a Wikicode like this:
[LinkName>Address>_blank]

But it generates that HTML code:
<a href="http://..." rel="_blank">LinkName</a>
