Merge cells function on WYSIWYG

TinyMCE, just like most Office software, offers a function to merge cells. While this is possible to achieve the same effect using the wiki markup and the style statement it would greatly benefit unexperienced users if they could just merge cells with a special function. Could be something like "merge cell 1.1 to 2.2" or something.
