Selecting a piece of text and adding to its annotation the special caracter ">" doesn't work properly

steps to reproduce:

-login
-annotate some normal text ()no special characters)
-in the annotation text, put the ">" character at the beginning of the annotation text.
-save the annotation

-you will see that the ">" character will not appear in the annotation window when hovering, nor on the Annotations Tab.
