Discrepancy between the total number of extensions returned and the number of matched extensions reported by the Extension Repository

For example, searching for "a" currently reports 113 matched extensions, but only 1-36 are returned. See for example http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/rest/repository/search?q=a&start=34 which returns only two extensions, the 35th and the 36th.
