Password length checking is disabled for the "Change Password" feature

    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Login as a user or admin
      • Go to your profile -> Preferences
      • Click on "Change Password"
      • Enter your new password twice in the corresponding fields
      • Click "Update"

      You are allowed to enter a very short password, such as the character "a" or any other one. On the Registration page you are not allowed to choose a password with a length smaller than 6 characters.

      Tested on Chrome 23, Firefox 16.0.2, IE8 and IE9.
