After saving the piwik URL and the Site ID the UI still shows "Piwik tracking is not running."

If one fills in the required information in the Piwik section of the Wiki Admin and saves, the result page shows that tracking code will be generated, but still shows the error message "Piwik tracking is not running.". Only after revising the Piwik section one gets the correct feedback "Piwik tracking is running"

Similar, if one removes the code, after save the feedback message still signals success; only after revisiting the Piwik section the proper message about the piwik url and ite ID missing is shown.
