When changing the page layout using the panel wizard, selected panels are not displayed on the page

• Go to the wiki administration
• Click on the Panel Wizard button
• Click on the page layout tab
• Select a page layout that is different from the current one
• The additional / removed panel(s) do not appear on the screen
• However, the panels are "virtually" present (see screenshots attached)

Basically, underlying actions work but their effect is not reflected on the page.
