Description
There are different ways to delete a page:
- "More actions" menu
- "Delete"
- "Versions" menu
- "Delete this page" if unversioned, "Delete this version" if versioned content page
- "Delete all versions" if versioned content page
The issue can appear that a user uses the "More actions" menu one, and doesn't realize that he will only delete the currently displayed versioned content page.
I see some solutions:
- Have a modal displayed when the "More actions"'s "Delete" is used on versioned content pages, like it's done for the edit button. It would ask if the user wants to only delete this version or the page with all its versions.
- Disable/hide the "More actions"'s "Delete"
I think the first option would be the best in terms of integration. It might even be possible to remove the options in the "Versions" menu.
