Caret remains in the link after inserting a "quick link" using the [ shortcut

This issue is about the quick link add feature of the CKEditor with the [ shortcut.
How to reproduce:

• Type some text in a page
• type [
  • the list of page suggestions to link to will get displayed
    
• type the name of the page to link to, choose it from the suggestions (by hitting enter)
• the link to the page is added, the suggestion box disappears and editing continues in the editor
  

Expected result:

• continuing to type now will type text after the link

Actual result:

• continuing to type now will type text in the link label
