Allow for save and continue when editing in CR mode

Currently, when editing in CR mode, the only way to persist changes is by clicking on "Save as Change Request".
But this is also moving the user outside the editor (i.e., the editing context is lost).
This is not optimal to make sure incremental changes are persisted.
Therefore, a mechanism to save & continue without leaving the editor could be interesting.
