There is no loading indication when uploading an attachment

Reproduction steps

1. go to an editable page
2. possibly, simulate a slow network
3. select a file and click upload

Expected

• something indicates that the attachments is loading
• something indicates that the attachments are refreshing
• upload success/failure is indicated

Actual

None of that is displayed, which is particullarly disturbing on slow networks.
