Groups, Messages, Creating or Editiing a message and including non-alpha numberic characters prevents the message from being created.

1. Go to a Group, Message Tab
2. Create a new message, such as Hello World ? !
3. Save the message
4. Click the Message tab.
5. Click to either edit or view the message you created

The message is not there even though it is listed on the tab.
