SOLR fails with out-of-memory

In the current setting, which uses default values for just about any JVM parameter, SOLR reaches out-of-memory after about a week.

We should:

• tune the parameters to raise the memory usage to 8G
• have a method to monitor with our eyes
• let an automated monitor run and inform us
