logCommits does not delete sufficiently many files

The logging architecture of the SOLR search stores the xml of the last few messages sent to solr; this is useful for debug purposes; the last few is, in principle, 200.

However, the last beta re-indexing actually stated to become slow (about 8 minutes per process) because there were more 500 mb of these files.

We should make sure this does not happen.
