Description
(From Bill):
Was wondering if you would have a few minutes this coming week to talk about a couple of Google Analytics issues.
Better understanding of our conversion tracking and why Analytics numbers differ so much from our metrics tracker.
I'd like to be able to use the inpage analytics feature which is under Content. When I try I get the following message.
We've identified problems in your setup. These may cause problems loading In-Page Analytics.
• Your "Default Page" setting, "/xwiki/bin/view/Main/", is probably wrong. This will not prevent In-Page Analtics from loading, but may cause incorrect data to be displayed. Default Page should be set to your web server's default, for example "index.html" or "default.htm".
• Your site doesn't load ga.js from Google. If you host the Google tracking code on your own servers, it isn't updated automatically and can miss important changes.
• We didn't find a tracking snippet on your site. In-Page Analytics cannot load. Please make sure you have tracking installed correctly. If your snippet is included in a separate JavaScript file, you'll have to manually check it is being loaded correctly.
The Last item is to expand our social media tracking. This page talks about why
