The invite confirmation looks like this.

1 of 1 invitations sent. Group leaders can view open invitation(s) on the [Members list>Members?type=3]. If you want to invite more people to the group, [click here>InviteMembers] to return to the invitation form.
Notice the * and [ are appearing instead of rendering.
