WYSIWYG - More Functional Issues

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      1) Table style still blue in wysiwyg Edit mode, and when you save they are different width, the position is different, the style is different, and often outlines are missing for cells. See: http://dev.curriki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Coll_jmarks/TestWikiBlock2 - also between FF and IE, and the three modes (View, CB Edit/view, and CB edit-wysiwyg), most of the time tables are centered, but in IE in CB view mode, the tables are right justified.

      2) Parsing Wiki synaptic (Square brackets, and Underscore in particular) is still an issue in tiles and body test (As you have observed). In WYSIWYG mode you should be able to use repeated underscores (e.g. _________________________ ) for fill-in-the-blank area in wiki text block and paragraphs. In general WYSIWYG mode should not parse any wiki syntax that is supported in the editor UI. There is underscore in the editor UI so no need for it to be parsed from the syntax. That is not true "what-you-see-is-what-you-get".

      3) Why are numbered lists created as Style=Div? (And Bulleted lists are not?

I have created 2 specific collections. In one, I have entered all the XWIKI syntax as such in Wiki Editor mode and in another collection the same sytax were entered in Source Editor mode.

Whatever entered in Wiki mode is to display as it is and those entered in Source Editor has to be converted and displayed.
