Ability to set a maximum zoom level

In some cases, it could be useful to set a specific maximum zoom level because so that it remains in the range of the tile provider supports.

For example on the map below, the application lets the user zooming up to a level where OpenStreetMap returns 404 errors (see also attached capture).

That'd be great to have an option for avoiding this, what do you think?
