Formula in figureCaption is eliminated in the list of figures

The LaTeX FigureCaption templates used latex.tool.getPlainTextDescendants() to generate a figure caption suitable for the list of figures. I do not know what didn't suit the list of figures and had to be eliminated, but the current implementation filters out all formulas from the captions used in the list of figures and I would very much like them to be visible there, at least because some of the captions don't make sense if you blank the formulas.
