Information Popup for Leaflet Maps

For Google Maps, there is an infoWindow which displays the information inside the map macro as a popup

However, with Leaflet there is no popup. The click on the marker in Leaflet redirects to the OpenStreetMap url and no popup is shown.

What should happen is that if there is information inside the macro, then that information should be displayed as a popup else the marker should redirect to the OpenStreetMap url.
