Content located after a group in a list item becomes a separate block in CommonMark Markdown 1.2

When rendering the following xwiki/2.1 content to markdown/1.2 and parsing the result back:

* a(((b)))c

Expected: "c" stays inline content of the list item, after the group.
Actual: it's rendered as

* a

  b

  c

and "c" is read back as a separate group.
