HTML macro containing an empty line located in nested containers is split when read back in CommonMark Markdown 1.2

When rendering to markdown/1.2 an HTML macro whose content contains an empty line, located in nested containers (e.g. a list item in a quotation), the HTML block is split at the empty line when reading it back, and the rest of the content isn't part of the HTML macro anymore.
