Cannot create all-day events

It is not possible any more to create "all day" events when using the calendar application with XWiki after 16.10.12. This is caused by https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-20910 , and the fact that the calendar "create event" dialog sends date values without a time, which is no longer valid with the fix of the platform issue.

Instead when trting to creata an "all day" event, one gets an error message like:

An error occured while saving: Error number 0 in 0: Error when parsing [11.12.2025] with format [dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm] and locale [en].

and all entries in the create form are lost.
