Show Event List of the latest events

Idea: Display a list of the "upcoming" or "most recent" events, like the http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Calendar+Application does.

If a calendar only has a few events, or these are all in the far future or past, the "events per month / week / day" is not very helpful, as these will be empty for most of the values.
Users have to hunt down the month to see if the calendar is not completely empty.

Instead a display of the 5-10 "most recent" events will users tell quickly if there are events at all. The simplest definition of "most recent" might be: "sort by date descending", never mind if they are in the future or the past.
