Autocomplete error when starting to type $ in wikieditor with Velocity 2.x

Reproduction steps:

• Start typing a velocity script and type "$doc."

Expected result:

• The autocomplete shows the available methods when finishing to type $doc.

Obtained result:

• Errors are displayed when typing until $doc. is entirely typed. See the attached gif.
