Annotations Application to work for wikis named anything other than "xwiki"

Annotations Application does not work for those wikis which are not named as "xwiki".
For instance, when wiki is running at http://localhost:8080/mywiki, the annotation code tries to find the wiki at http://localhost:8080/xwiki only.

The error reported by the wiki is : No Host matches server name localhost
Firebug plugin for Firefox returns :
