Unable to save layout scheme when xwiki language is set to french

Steps to reproduce the problem:

-login to your wiki
-change the language to french in admistration panel -> General
-go to Panels section, and add some panels.
-save the new layout (NOTE: NO javascript alert that the layoud has been saved)
-refresh the page

You will notice :

-the configuration wasn't saved.

Remarks: it's a language dependent escaping error.
