Find a way to have the war in the core extension list

This is needed to know what we are dealing with. The idea is that it gives you information on the current XWiki distribution, we have the version its in version.properties but we don't know what it is.

It's pretty hard to do automatically. All I have is a jndi URL I get from Environment pointing to META-INF/maven but I have no idea how to scan files and subfolder in a URL looking like jndi:/localhost/META-INF/maven.

If I can't find any way all I can think of is to introduce a distribution.properties file in the war at a stable location (so not like the maven pom.xml...) with informations in it. See http://markmail.org/message/feavtmfokcsaalpo, for now this proposal is getting a veto...
