Description
The problem is when the gradient color of the menu is not white, there is an ugly-ish effect on the selected tab, see attached file.
To reproduce, create a color theme where the menu color and the gradient menu color are the same, the purpose being to achieve a flat, non-gradient, menubar.
This will automatically create a shadow for the selected tab, of the color of the gradient, so the text of the selected bottom tab will appear fuzzy.
I tried the same with a slightly lighter gray for the gradient color, so that the menu is "almost flat", the selected tab still looks bad (check out the second image).
In general, it's not very very easy to get this right: gradient color that would also look good as a shadow color: so either we make the shadow optional, or we allow to set the color.
I think he pb is with white text on dark background, that's when the shadows really get messed up.
