attachmentSelector macro lightbox cannot load image within pop-up gallery. Happens when clicking to load or clicking back / forward

When viewing image attachments in the attachmentSelector popup dialog, if you click on the image to view it in a lightbox it will sometimes load, but fail to change to the next or previous image.

After this happens the image box stays white with an animated loading image in the center, and you must click to the blacked out background to dismiss the lightbox as it stays stuck.

This seems to happen when changing between the image size is different.
Eg From a horizontal type image to a vertically orientated image for the next image.

I get the following error when debugging in Google Chrome:
