A table created in Word appears broken when later trying to edit the page that contains it (also in Word)

Steps to follow to reproduce:

• Create a page and save it
• Add a table and add some text to it
• Click "Publish document"
• Close the Word window
• Reopen the page in Word

Result: The table is broken
