Description
A heading in XWiki syntax
= My heading Überschrift =
will be displayed in the rendered page source code as
<h1 id="HMyheadingDCberschrift"></h2>
so for example the special character 'Ü' will be rendered in Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) '%DC' or "DC".
As result I have to look up in the source code or use a decode tool to find out the correct link.
[[label>>Space.Page#HMyheadingDCberschrift]]
This means for me creating a link to a heading with special characters is pretty much impossible for an end-user.
An improvement proposal would be not to decode special characters or alternatively rendere e.g. 'Ü' as 'Ue' or 'ß' as 'ss'.
At least there should be a hint on
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/XWikiSyntax
how to make an link to a heading with special characters if nothing will be changed in this place.
