    Description

      There is currently no HTML5 parser but there should be one to support moving CKEditor to HTML5. Important points:

      • Monospace content is no longer a tt-tag but a span and needs to be recognized. The same applies to inline verbatim content.
      • Parse figure and figcaption.
      • The remaining HTML5 tags are probably left as future work as there is currently no support in rendering.
