Description
On 12.6.4, 8.4.4 , 10.11.9 and 11.10.1 :
- set the wiki to french
- go on the Meeting report template page, it shows properly in french (the translation committed for this issue)
- create a new page
- choose meeting report template
- hit create
Expected result
- the content of the meeting report template, as seen on the meeting report template page is prefilled in the newly created page
Actual result
- the content of the default meeting template page, in English, is prefilled in the newly created page.
What's really a pain at this point, for the administrator, is that whatever editing they do on the template page, they will always be editing the french translation so they have no way to actually fix that text that gets prefilled. If the french translation for the template would not exist, then they'd have the same behaviour upon page creation (content in english) but they could change it very easily by going in the administration and editing the template and replacing the text with french text.
This is an issue resulted from adding translations for template pages, in TEMPLATES-10 (and TEMPLATES-14) , when, in fact translated templates was never a feature of the templates functionality in XWiki (see XWIKI-17994 - comment especially).
