Selecting a new method doesn't override the existing method text before the cursor

To reproduce:

• Create a page with

  {{velocity}}
  #set ($var = $services.wiki.all)
  {{/velocity}}
  

• Put the cursor before the "a" of "all".
• Press ctrl+space to autocomplete and select "allIds"
• Notice that the resulting text is "allIdsall" instead of "allIds" (i.e the new method is inserted instead of replacing the existing one).
