    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Have some syntax that produces null references in link blocks, see, e.g., CONFLUENCE-380
      2. Display a page with links in that syntax

      Expected result:

      The page can be displayed.

      Actual result:

      An error is displayed (see CONFLUENCE-380 for a full stack trace).
