Suggest picker not working in inline popups

Case.
There is a page with an input field that has suggest functionality (uses suggestPicker.js) for usernames.
Admin was looked up and selected.
A popup (or rather a lightbox) is opened on that page, and it contains a field that is identical to the field on the underlying page.
Admin was looked up and found, however clicking on the suggestion does nothing.
