WYSIWYG editor does not add text to lists

Enter the following into the source tab of the editor

* http://google.de

Switch to the WYSIWYG tab and add a new list bulletpoint "hello" right below the google.de link

When switching back to the source tab a new bullet point has been added but the text has not been:

* http://google.de
* 

When saving the document the text does not get saved either. It is lost.

Note that the problem does not occur when using

* [[http:~~/~~/google.de>>url:http://google.de]]

To create the link.
This is not very intuitive and most likely a bug. As it leads to data loss (text entered is not saved) it's quite critical.
The Problem can be observed both in Firefox 35 beta and in Chrome 39.
