Empty lines/spaces are compacted/removed in the WYSIWYG editor

Details

    Description

      The WYSIWYG editor loses empty lines and spaces:

      • empty lines before and after the document disappear
      • lines are trimmed (spaces at the start and end of the line disappear)
      • a group of consecutive empty lines are turned into only one line

      For example,

      
    1.1 Section a




    some     text    


1.1 Section b


some other text

      will be turned into 

      1.1 Section a

some     text

1.1 Section b

some other text
